Larissa’s residents have now the opportunity to enjoy FISIKON’s multiple advantages for the industry of natural gas vehicles.
The “arrival” to Larissa of natural gas for vehicles was announced by the formal presentation on natural gas-powered vehicles which was successfully held in the city’s Central Square (Michail Sapka Square) on Wednesday, July 6, on the occasion of the opening of the new FISIKON-EKO filling station (65, Volos Street). A large number of people attended and had the chance to find out more about the multiple advantages offered by the use of natural gas for vehicles, as well as DEPA’S plans for facilitating the growth of the Greek natural gas vehicle market. DEPA sponsored the conversion of two municipal cars belonging to Larissa and the Region of Thessaly into bi-fuel vehicles. The cars were officially handed over on the occasion of the event.
The people of Larissa have now the option to use FISIKON natural gas and enjoy the benefits of a motor fuel with unique properties. Compared to other conventional fuels, natural gas is a cheaper, safer and greener fuel option that generates fewer pollutants, particularly when it comes to carbon dioxide and sulfur oxide emissions. Therefore it can contribute significantly to a cleaner environment, especially in terms of air pollution in the city – which is a major consideration for the local community.
