FISIKON emerged as the most economical fuel in the 7th Hi-Tech EKO Mobility Rally held on 5-6 October.
FISIKON, the compressed natural gas, used in the Volkswagen EcoUp! car that runs on CNG with Thomas Papapashos and Dimitris Hatzitolios as drivers was proven to be the most economical fuel among all the fuels used in the rally. The Greek participation drove 582 km of the total rally itinerary consuming only € 13.7 worth of fuel. The immediately next economical car was the hybrid Toyota Prius with total fuel cost of € 36.3.
It is clarified that in order to cover the rally’s 582 km the Eco Up! Car running on natural gas used a complementary gas quantity of 0.75lt worth of € 1.24 based on the rally’s regulations.
